The 3" Fig 1502 Female (Threaded) x 3-1/2" EUE Swage is an ultra-rugged, precision-machined crossover adapter designed to provide a highly secure, leak-free transition from massive 3-inch surface flowlines directly to large-capacity 3-1/2" downhole tubing strings. This heavy-duty fitting features a 3-inch Figure 1502 Female threaded connection (designed to receive a standard 3" 1502 male sub and wing nut) on one side, and a standard 3-1/2" External Upset End (EUE) 8-Round tubing thread on the opposing end.
Manufactured from a solid block of high-strength, heat-treated forged alloy steel, this integral swage is built to withstand the extreme mechanical stresses, massive fluid volumes, and intense vibrations inherent in large-scale well intervention, high-rate frac flowback, and heavy cementing operations. By providing a direct step-down from a 3-inch 15,000 PSI manifold system to 3-1/2" wellhead tubing, it eliminates the need for multiple stacked adapters, reducing potential leak paths and significantly improving overall rig-up safety and efficiency.
By utilizing a seamless, integral (one-piece) forged design rather than a fabricated or welded construction, this adapter completely eliminates structural weak points. This ensures maximum blowout resistance, mechanical integrity, and a reliable seal during extreme high-capacity fluid transfer and heavy-duty well testing procedures.
