The 9/16" High-Pressure (HP) Collar is a critical instrumentation component utilized in ultra-high-pressure coned and threaded tubing systems. A defining feature of the HP collar is its precision-machined internal left-hand threads. During assembly, the collar is threaded onto the left-hand threads of the prepared tubing. When the right-hand threaded gland nut is subsequently tightened over it, the opposing thread directions prevent the collar from backing off, ensuring a stable and vibration-resistant connection.
