Specifically built to manage continuous fluid pressure drops and maintain exact, unalterable flow rates, this choke bean features a robust 410 Stainless Steel carrier body paired with a fully lined premium Tungsten Carbide (TC) insert to withstand the industry's most abrasive and erosive flow regimes.

In positive choke manifolds, well fluids are subjected to immense velocity surges and severe localized turbulence as they pass through the choke bean's restrictive orifice. When dealing with frac sand, proppants, or high-velocity well-testing returns, standard steel beans can quickly erode or "wash out," altering the orifice size and compromising well control. To eliminate this issue, this bean's entire internal flow path is fully lined with solid tungsten carbide—one of the hardest compounds available. This provides an impenetrable defense against severe abrasive erosion, extending the trim life exponentially.
