This crucial adapter allows field operators to seamlessly connect standard 3-inch 15,000 PSI (FIG 1502) flowline iron to 3-inch 2,000 PSI (FIG 206) low-pressure piping systems without fabricating complex, multi-piece workarounds.

In standard oilfield operations, it is frequently necessary to tie high-pressure manifolds directly into low-pressure systems, such as mud tanks, suction lines, or water transfer hoses. By bridging this massive gap in pressure ratings and connection profiles with a single integral fitting, this adapter dramatically reduces the overall rig-up footprint, minimizes potential leak paths, and speeds up the rig-up process.
