While molded in the industry's standard black color—often visually identical to standard Buna-N seals—this component is constructed entirely from elite Viton® (Fluorocarbon / FKM). This seal provides maximum defense against elevated temperatures, synthetic drilling muds, sour gas (H2S), and aggressive completion chemicals that would quickly destroy standard rubber compounds.
