The Flange Adapter, 1-13/16" 10M x 2" FIG 1502 Female (Thread), is a high-integrity, heavy-duty crossover component engineered to bridge a bolted API 6A high-pressure connection with a temporary hammer union treating line. Rated for a robust 10,000 PSI maximum cold working pressure, this specialized companion flange adapter provides an absolute, leak-proof transition point, allowing operators to safely route high-pressure fluids from wellheads, blowout preventers (BOPs), or manifold systems directly into standard temporary flowline infrastructure.

In high-pressure upstream operations, transitioning from permanent bolted components to flexible or temporary iron packages requires uncompromising structural safety. While the Figure 1502 side of this component is inherently designed to withstand 15,000 PSI, crossing it over to a 10M API flange means the entire assembly is rated to a maximum working pressure of 10,000 PSI (10K CWP) to match the standard rating of the bolted system.

This adapter features an integral, one-piece forged design. Side A is a 1-13/16" 10M flanged profile featuring a precision-machined Ring-Type Joint (RTJ) groove engineered to compress standard metal ring gaskets for a fail-safe wellhead barrier. Side B features an integral 2-inch FIG 1502 female thread (threaded sub) profile, precision-threaded to receive a standard 2" 1502 male wing end for rapid, secure hammer-up connection in the field.

Features & Benefits

  • Direct Flange-to-Union Crossover: Eliminates the need for multiple intermediate fittings, providing a streamlined and secure transition from a bolted API flange to a temporary hammer union line.

  • 10,000 PSI Max Working Pressure: Engineered specifically to manage high-pressure upstream fluid streams up to 10,000 PSI (10M CWP) under continuous operation.

  • Precision RTJ Sealing Surface: Side A features a perfectly machined ring groove that accommodates standard API 6A high-pressure metal ring gaskets for an optimal metal-to-metal seal.

  • Integral Forged Construction: Machined from a single solid piece of premium forged alloy steel, eliminating weld joints and reducing the risk of structural fatigue under mechanical vibration or cyclic stress.

  • Standardized Compatibility: Seamlessly bridges any standard 1-13/16" 10K bolted wellhead or manifold component with a standard 2" FIG 1502 temporary flowline package.

Applications

This 1-13/16" 10M x 2" 1502 female flange adapter is an indispensable asset for upstream high-pressure surface routing configurations. Typical applications include adapting API 6A gate valve outlets to temporary frac or flowback iron, executing high-pressure well testing connection setups, terminating choke and kill manifold lines into fluid tanks, and capping wellhead trees during auxiliary testing procedures.

Quality Assurance

All our integral crossover flange adapters are manufactured from premium forged alloy steel and subjected to strict quality control processes. Each adapter undergoes rigorous dimensional layout checks, precise ring groove and thread gauging verification, and non-destructive testing (NDT) to guarantee zero structural defects. Full material test reports (MTRs) are available upon request to guarantee compliance with API 6A industry guidelines.
