In high-rate hydraulic fracturing, complex cementing jobs, and precise well testing, accurate flow measurement is essential for maintaining proper chemical ratios, monitoring pump performance, and ensuring the overall success of the operation. As fluid passes through the meter, it engages the precision-machined turbine rotor. A magnetic pickup sensor detects the rotational speed of the turbine blades, translating that movement into highly accurate electronic flow rate data that can be fed directly to a data acquisition system or local display unit.

The 2" FIG 1502 configuration utilizes an MxM (Male x Female) setup. One end features an integral male wing profile with a heavy-duty wingnut, while the other features a precision-machined female threaded sub. This allows the flow meter to be rapidly hammered directly into existing high-pressure manifolds, pump discharge lines, and temporary flowback iron without the need for additional adapters.
