The Crossover Adapter, 3" FIG 206 Female (Thread) x 2" FIG 1502 Male (Wing), is a heavy-duty, fabricated flowline component engineered to safely transition both pipe size and pressure ratings within fluid transfer systems. Utilizing a highly durable Welded Schedule XH (Extra Heavy) pipe construction, this adapter allows field operators to step down from a 3-inch, 2,000 PSI (FIG 206) low-pressure line directly into standard 2-inch, 15,000 PSI (FIG 1502) equipment.

In everyday surface operations, it is frequently necessary to tie high-pressure 2-inch well service iron (like treating iron or choke manifolds) back into lower-pressure 3-inch storage, mixing, or fluid transfer infrastructure. By bridging this significant gap in both connection profile and bore size, this welded adapter eliminates the need to stack multiple threaded swages and bell reducers, significantly streamlining the rig-up process and minimizing potential leak paths.

The 3" FIG 206 end provides a precision-machined female thread (sub) connection designed to safely seat a standard 206 male wing profile. Conversely, the 2" FIG 1502 end features a standard high-pressure male wing configuration complete with a wingnut for fast, hammer-up installation into 15K equipment.

Note: While the 2" FIG 1502 connection is nominally rated for 15,000 PSI and the SCH XH pipe provides substantial wall thickness, the overall working pressure of this welded crossover assembly is strictly limited by the 3" FIG 206 connection, resulting in a maximum system pressure rating of 2,000 PSI (2K CWP).
