This extreme-duty 15,000 PSI Choke Manifold is a specialized, high-capacity flow control system engineered for critical well testing, frac flowback, and severe-service drilling operations. Designed to safely reduce and manage massive wellhead pressures before fluids enter downstream separation or flare equipment, this fully integrated manifold unit is rated for an immense 15,000 PSI Cold Working Pressure (15M CWP). It features a highly versatile 5-valve configuration combined with dual adjustable chokes, providing operators with maximum flow control, redundancy, and operational safety in extreme-pressure environments.

The manifold’s core flow-routing architecture is built around four (4) 2" x 2" Figure 1502 Plug Valves and one (1) large-bore 3" x 3" Figure 1502 Plug Valve. The four 2-inch valves serve to isolate the dual adjustable chokes, allowing operators to seamlessly redirect high-pressure flow from one choke line to the other. This critical redundancy enables on-the-fly choke maintenance, inspection, or replacement without shutting in the well. The 3-inch plug valve acts as a high-capacity bypass or main isolation line, safely accommodating massive fluid volumes during heavy cleanout or surge conditions.

Entirely mounted on a rugged, heavy-duty crash skid, the manifold is protected against harsh oilfield transport and rough rig-site handling. The skid features integrated lifting points for rapid, secure deployment. Manufactured from premium forged alloy steel and equipped with standard Figure 1502 hammer union connections, this choke manifold ensures rapid rig-up, complete structural integrity, and bubble-tight pressure containment under continuous, high-velocity abrasive flow.

Features & Benefits

  • 15,000 PSI Pressure Rating (15M): Engineered to safely manage extreme wellbore pressures with a robust 15,000 PSI Cold Working Pressure rating.

  • Dual Adjustable Chokes: Equipped with two high-pressure adjustable chokes to provide precise, variable flow rate control and safe pressure step-down.

  • Redundant Flow Routing: The dual-choke design allows for continuous operation; flow can be routed through one side while the other is isolated for maintenance.

  • 5-Valve Configuration: Features four 2" Fig 1502 plug valves for choke isolation and one 3" Fig 1502 plug valve for high-capacity bypass operations.

  • Low-Torque Plug Valves: Integrated high-pressure plug valves feature a low-operating-torque design for rapid, effortless actuation under extreme pressure.

  • Rugged Skid Mounted: Fully assembled and mounted within a heavy-duty steel crash skid with built-in lifting points for secure transport and immediate rig-up.

  • Figure 1502 Connections: Utilizes industry-standard Fig 1502 hammer union end connections for fast, tool-free, and secure integration into existing 15M iron spreads.

Applications

This 15,000 PSI skid-mounted choke manifold is an absolutely critical asset for upstream operations requiring precise pressure control and high-volume fluid handling. Typical applications include high-pressure frac flowback operations, extended surface well testing, underbalanced or managed pressure drilling (MPD), severe well intervention services, and general high-pressure fluid routing where redundancy and safe pressure reduction are strictly required.

Quality Assurance

The entire manifold assembly undergoes rigorous, certified quality control protocols. This includes severe hydrostatic pressure testing of the entire unit, precision torque testing of all valves, dimensional verification, and full material traceability (MTRs) to ensure fail-safe structural integrity, leak-free operation, and compliance with strict API and oilfield standards.
